Scanner Cards and Experimental Stations Link Nutritious Food to the Needy
The LINK card allows underprivileged people to shop at for fresh foods like at the 61st Street Farmer's Market (right). The card works much like food stamps but allows people to scan the card at the outdoor markets along with grocery stores.
